Ron White Found Guilty On Drug Charges

VERO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A Vero Beach judge has found comedian
Ron White guilty of minor drug charges.
The "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" veteran won't serve any jail
time under a decision filed Tuesday. White's attorney worked out a
plea deal with prosecutors in November. He will serve six months
probation, pay fines and fees and have his driver license suspended
for two years.
White was arrested after flying into Vero Beach on a private
plane in September. Police reports show he was charged with
possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, valued at $10, and
drug paraphernalia.
White, who didn't appear in court, has said previously that a
former employee angry over not getting a severance tipped off
Florida police that he was carrying marijuana.
