DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - The principal of Dothan High School faces a
criminal charge for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Dothan Police Chief John Powell tells the Dothan Eagle newspaper
that an arrest warrant was issued for Andrew Sewell on Thursday.
Authorities said Sewell is alleged to have engaged in an
inappropriate relationship with a female student. No other
information was available about the allegations.
Sewell was placed on administrative leave, pending the outcome
of the investigation.
He has served as principal of the school for two years.
