NEW YORK (AP) - Anti-violence advocates are trying to get online outlets to stop selling a video game in which "players" stalk and rape a mother and her two daughters. New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn notes that while some online retailers have stopped selling the "Rapelay" game, the title is still available from other sellers.
Amazon.com and eBay have already banned sales of the game. And another online seller, jbdoujinshop.ecrater.com says as of yesterday, it is no longer was offering the game. The game is made by a company called Illusion, based in Yokohama, Japan. The didn't immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment.
