The B.B.B. says around 60 businesses across Mobile County have gone bankrupt in the past six months.
Tina Waller says consumers should consider using credit rather than cash for their purchases.
"Most of the time that will give you some protection just because you have a recourse with your credit card company. If there's a charge on your credit card company and you do not receive their merchandise you could typically get your money back,"Said Waller.
The B.B.B. says you can always file a complaint with them. You can call the Mobile office at 251-433-5494.
