Two U-S Navy sailors are facing attempted murder charges in Mexico. They are
accused of attacking two prostitutes and an employee at a hotel in Tijuana.

Navy officials identified the two sailors as 27-year-old Joshua Dockery of
Runnemede, New Jersey, and 22-year-old Jarrett Monzingo of Cabool, Missouri.
Both men are based in Coronado, California.

The sailors were arrested by authorities in Tijuana early Thursday (2/5). They
are currently in jail in Tijuana.

Mexican authorities say one of the prostitutes was choked, the other was
stabbed, and the hotel employee was also stabbed.

The arrests come six weeks after Navy and Marine Corps commanders ordered
service members to stay out of Mexico. Military officials say escalating
violence in Mexico prompted the restriction.
