Elderly Driver Slams Into Store And Toddler

A car driven by an 87-year-old woman crashed into a bakery, north of Boston, and pushed a display case onto a 2-year-old boy.

Amanda LaFlamme was pinned against the counter. Her son, Riley, fell on his face and boxes from the display case landed on top of him. Fortunately, neither was seriously injured.

Police say the driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake. No charges have been filed.
