Motorcycle Rider Killed In Crash

The crash happened on County Road 12 in Foley. The driver who turned in front of the motorcyle is charged with vehicular homicide.

Foley police have charged the man blamed for the deadly crash that killed a motorcyclist.

According to police, by 68-year-old Arthur Fleming was traveling east on County Road 12 Friday night. Carlos Padilla, who was headed in the opposite direction, turned into the path of Fleming when trying to turn left on Kendallbrook Loop.

Fleming was flown by helicopter to Baptist Hospital where he died from his injuries. Padilla is charged with vehicular homicide, a felony.
