An 18-year old high school senior will remain in the Baldwin County jail, charged with murder and arson. Amber Jerkins made her first appearance this morning in a Baldwin County courtroom in Bay Minette.
A judge ordered her jailed without bond for the murder of Bob Aitcheson. An arson charge earned a one-million dollar bond.
During the hearing, a Baldwin County Sheriff's detective testified that Jerkins admitted to dousing Aitchesons trailer with gasoline and setting it on fire.
