Racist Graffiti At Park

Mobile Police are investigating racist graffiti spray painted at a West Mobile park. But, they didn't know about the vandalism until we brought it to their attention. The Medal of Honor Park men's room by the playground was defaced with the graffiti and racist message. The word "Whites" was painted by one sink, and the "N" word written by another. We talked with people visiting the park about the offensive message, "that's pretty scary and thought that now we would have moved all past that but apparently not, so, its definitely scary," said Claire Hackman. A City of Mobile crew came by the park Monday to clean up the mess. We're told they'll have to paint over the walls to get all the graffiti off.
