An 81-year old great grandmother was the owner of the car used in two smash and grabs in Mobile on Monday.
She doesn't want her name out there because the bad guys are still on the run but agrees to tell her side of the story.
She says her 1987 Buick Park Avenue was parked at her apartment complex on Sunday night. Twelve hours later, police were at the door with the news that her car was stolen.
She saw her buick on surveillance video, crashing through two store fronts and ATM's being tossed in the back. The three men haven't been identified but reportedly set her car on fire to hide evidence.
The crime spree has left an 81-year old woman without anything to drive. "When you heard what your car had been through what did you think? I didn't know it until I saw it on the TV. I will miss it. It had a new battery on it and 3 new tires."
The Buick owner was planning on a day at the senior center before finding out her car was stolen.
