For two hundred years old, Baldwin County looks pretty good. Members of the Baldwin County Archives and History held a bicentennial celebration in Stockton today, 12/19/09. It was held in the aptly named Bicentennial Park. Live music, hay rides and historic re-enactors were part of the celebration. Organizers say Baldwin County has a rich history going back centuries. Baldwin County's 200th birthday is this Monday. Officials will dedicate a new monument to one of the area's founders, Judge Harry Toulmin, this Monday. That'll be at the south lawn of the Baldwin County courthouse in Bay Minette.
