A wild ride tonight in downtown Mobile.
Police say Daniel Webster wrecked on Water street in front of the Riverview Hotel.
They say he left the scene and drove to Beauregard into a retaining pond near the GM&O building.
An off duty officer from Satsuma saw the second crash and held the driver there until Mobile Police could get there.
Mobile police suspect Webster of DUI.
