The Alabama Crimson Tide will meet Texas in the National Championship Game January 7th in Pasadena, California after the Tide beat Florida 32-13 in the SEC Championship Game Saturday at the Goergia Dome in Atlanta.

The Longhorns squeaked by Nebraska 13-12 Saturday night to make it into the Championship Game.

Alabama was led by running back Mark Ingram who ran for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns. Quarterback Greg McElroy threw for 239 yards and another score.

The win dashes Florida's hopes for a third national title in four years.

Ingram's effort s expected to put him back in the hunt for the Heisman Trophy.

News 5 Sports Director Randy Patrick was at the game and talked with McElroy, Pensacola's Trent Richardson, Terrance Cody and Tebow after the game.
