Military Moms React To President's Plan

We wanted to know what some of you think about the President's plan to send 30-thousand more troops into Afghanistan. A West Mobile woman we spoke with says she supports President Obama's decision as long as troops get the support they need. Her son is expected to be deployed to Afghanistan on his second tour of duty as a Marine. Another local military mom says if sending more troops will get her son and other soldiers back home than she's for it "as a Mother I want my son home. I want all of our troops home and if it takes 35-thousand more troops to bring our children home then that's what I want to do. I think that's what we need to do," said Janeen Thornton. Others we talked to had mixed feelings about the President's decision. While some support sending more troops into Afghanistan, others did not.
