A Mobile religious group was unwinding with art today, 8/30/2009. Members of the Conscious Mile Center for Spiritual Living held an art fair exhibit today. The event featured a collection of work from mostly local artists. Organizers say it started as chance for members to show off their work and it was expanded to a larger project.
“We wanted to be able to just open up our walls to anybody who wanted to offer their art and give them exposure and a chance to sell their stuff and keep 100% of the profits,” says founding Minister David Ault. The exhibit featured pottery, painting and other works from locals.
