New evidence made public Thursday offers the first look inside the home where Byrd and Melanie Billings were shot to death during a home invasion.
The gunmen involved in the July 9 robbery and double murder were caught by a surveillance system installed in the Billings' Beulah, Florida home. Time-lapse images from the 16 cameras positioned inside and outside the house show three gunmen pointing weapons directly at Byrd Billings' head while his wife and one of their young sons watched.
The surveillance video and 2,000 crime scene pictures are available for the public to see by appointment in the State Attorney's Office in Pensacola. The images can not be copied, published or broadcast.
Seven men are charged with the Billings' murders. An eighth suspect, Pamela Long Wiggins, is charged as an accessory after the crime.
