Local schools and the Mobile County Health Department are getting their H1N1 Swine Flu vaccination plan together. The health department doesn't know yet when they will get the vaccine in, but, once it is they will give it to local schools, so your child can be vaccinated there. It will be voluntary and free to children who get the vaccine at school, " the CDC's recommending that children 6 months through 24 years old get the shot that's going to be the target group first," said The Mobile County Health Department's Director of Epidemiology, Melissa Tucker. The health department says the H1N1 virus is already going around, but, most of the cases they're seeing are mild.
