Citronelle Man Shot By A Mobile County Deputy

The Mobile County Sheriff's Office says John McDonald was running a meth lab. When they showed up, he came out with a shot gun.

The Mobile County Sheriff's Office says a deputy shot a man who came at them with a shotgun.

Deputies were responding to an anonymous tip of a meth lab at West Coy Smith and Sam Lewis Road in Citronelle, near the Washington County line.

When they got there, deputies say 42-year-old John McDonald came out with a shotgun. A deputy fired twice, hitting McDonald in the arm and leg. McDonald was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
