Man Convicted Of Shooting Wife's Eye Out

Mobile jury convicts Robert Carter of first degree assault in shooting of his common-law wife Felicia Dorsey

A man who was convicted of shooting his wife's eye out has been convicted of first degree assault.
According to testimony, 50-year old Felecia Dorsey was shot by 73-year old Robert Carter in March of 2008 at the home the couple shared of Seale Street.
Dorsey testified that carter shot her after she told him she was going out.
Testimony showed Carter was a jealous man and had threatened to kill Dorsey in the past.
Carter will be sentenced in October and faces up to 20 years in prison.
