The LODA Art Walk is underway and runs until nine tonight. Most of the activities center around Cathedral Square. Live music will be played on the street corners..

Are you ready for some football?
Head to The University of South Alabama's practice fields behind the fieldhouse.
This Saturday is "Family Fan Day"!
You can watch the Jaguars' two hour scrimmage that starts at 9 a-m. then meet the players and coaches. They'll even sign autographs. That's not all. They'll be serving up free gumbo, hamburgers, hot dogs and Pepsi!
You can park park by the school's intramural fields, and the Jagtran will drop you off at the practice fields.

This is your last fee free weekend to check out Gulf Islands National Seashore.
Entrance fees will be waived for Fort Pickens, Perdido Key, and Opal Beach.
The government suggested the fee free weekends as a way to encourage americans looking for affordable vacations to check out national treasures.

Do you know C-P-R? Learn lifesaving skills for free.
Mobile Gas is teaming up with the American Red Cross to offer two adult C-P-R classes.
When you finish the course, you'll receive an adult C-P-R certification card good for one year, a C-P-R skill card, and a personal safety emergency pack.
There are two classes coming up August 22nd. That's next Saturday.
One from 8 in the morning till noon. The afternoon class is from 1 till five.
Classes are held at Mobile Gas on Dauphin Street.

Judy Sigler from The Mobile Public Library has a free workshop that may help you land a new job.
The first workshop will take place tomorrow morning at the West Regional Branch on Grelot Road. It runs from nine a-m- until noon.
The next one is scheduled for Thursday August 20 at the Main Library in Downtown Mobile, and the last one will take place at the Toulminville Branch on Saturday August 22nd.
All start at nine and run until noon..

Every child under 12 months old gets a free ticket to The Greatest Show On Earth.

Next Wednesday you can catch The Navy's Blue Angels practicing above Naval Air Station Pensacola.
August the 19th, the pilots will hold an autograph session. Practice runs from 8-30 to 9-30 in the morning.
it's a chance for people to meet the pilots.
It's held on the flight deck close to the museum..
