Dozens of people scored a good deal today from mobile police. Bidders packed the parking lot of mobile police headquarters. The Mobile Police Department was holding an unclaimed property auction today, Saturday, August 8, 2009. Dozens of items were up for bid. Bikes, electronics, and lawn equipment were among the many things on the auction block.
“Bidding on stuff it's of reasonable value and during these hard times we can afford stuff that's pretty cheap,” says bargain hunter Lemaris Alston. All items were sold as is. You had to be an early riser to take part in today's auction. Registration began at 7:30 this morning
