Mobile police have arrested a man they say got into an argument with another man and ran over him three times with a minivan.
According to police, Joseph Knapp got behind the wheel of his Dodge Caravan around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and ran over the victim. When the man tried to get away, police say Knapp ran him over a second time, knocking him to the ground. Knapp then backed up his vehicle and ran over the victim a third time.
The victim was transported to USA Medical Center where he is listed in serious condition with multiple injuries.
Police arrested Knapp at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. "I didn't runover nobody three times with a car," Knapp told News 5. "It was an accident."
