Russell hosted the morning show on The Big Station, 93 BLX for nearly 10 years. He died Friday morning from congestive heart failure.
Russell left the station in 2006 to become a manager for his nephew, Oakland Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell.
Ray Ray Russell was 42 years old.
