There was plenty of art and music this weekend in downtown Mobile for Arts Alive. People were busy checking out painting, pottery and other crafts at day two of the festival. The annual event promises big crowds, a lot of entertainment and organizers say it even gives folks a chance to try their hand at art.
“Chances for folks to get their hands in the pottery wheels and things of that nature so it turns out family comes out and they'll introduce kids to dance Shakespeare or music in a way that’s' fun for everybody,” says festival organizer David Calametti. If you couldn't make it out earlier today, you're still in luck, the festival continues until 9 tonight. It picks up again tomorrow from noon until 6. Admission is free.
