A Mississippi woman not only survives a gunshot wound to the head, the Jackson County Sheriff says she then made herself a cup of tea. Sheriff Mike Byrd says his deputies couldn't believe their eyes when they responded to a home in the Harleston Community early Tuesday morning. Byrd says 47-year-old Tammy Sexton had been shot in the head with a handgun at close range. The Sheriff says her husband pulled the trigger then killed himself, " Its an unbelievable thing somebody could be shot with a pistol in the head and still survive much less that she was conscious and talking to the officer when he arrived, so did not remember what had happened, offered the officer something to drink," said Sheriff Mike Byrd. Sheriff Byrd says Sexton's husband, Donald Ray Sexton, had been arrested in the past for domestic violence against his wife.
