We can’t show you the trainee’s faces. Trainer Gary Mozingo at the Gun Port in Coden says they need to keep their identities concealed. A handful of men were learning sharp shooting in Coden. It’s called Military Sealift Command Small Arms Training. They’re being trained to help ship supplies to military vessels in hostile and friendly waters. Part of the reason they’re using a range in Coden is because of a shooting tower. A high altitude gun post allows the trainees to shoot at targets on the ground, simulating what it would be like to fire from the bridge of a ship. Trainer Gary Mozingo tells us more in the video, in his own words.
