LAKE MARTIN, Ala. (AP) - Country singer Alan Jackson, who sang about "a little lake across Alabama" in his hit single "Drive,"
will share is his autobiographical song with boating fans at Lake Martin on July 25.
Jackson, who has spent many summer vacations at Lake Martin with his family, will perform at the AquaPalooza 2009 Signature Event
hosted by Sea Ray Boats dealer Russell Marine of Russell Marines in Alexander City.
The self-described boating nut plans to perform a selection of honky-tonk songs and party anthems. With a 20-year career that
spans 50 million album sales and 34 number one singles, Jackson released his latest album, Good Time, last year.
Sea Ray hopes to top last year's attendance record of 2,500 boats and 10,000 guests.
