NEW YORK (AP) - It's one small step for NASA but one non-stop jog for Stephen Colbert.
The television satirist hosts "The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. And when the space agency recently held a contest to name
a room aboard the international space station, the name Colbert won as a write-in vote over such NASA suggestions as Serenity, Legacy
and Earthrise.
On Colbert's show Tuesday night, astronaut Sunita Williams announced that NASA won't be naming a room after him but instead
will name a treadmill in his honor. Since NASA loves acronyms, the device will officially be known as the Combined Operational Load
Bearing External Resistance Treadmill, in short, COLBERT.
