The Mobile NAACP is accusing District Attorney John Tyson Jr. of withholding information about the resignation of former prosecutor Steve Giradini. Now, they say Tyson should be the one to step down, "the citizens of Mobile deserved better than half- truths. District Attorney John Tyson Jr., as top law enforcement officer of this county, who is unproven in insuring public truth among all citizens, should consider stepping down," said chapter president, Jimmie Gardner.
But, Tyson says he has been open about Giaridini's resignation from the start, "I was open immediately and open now, have been open from the beginning, expect to continue to be," said Tyson. Tyson also says he's not going anywhere.
