It's Palm Sunday and a day of unity for many Christians in Mobile. The group "Opportunity For Unity" held its third annual concert of prayer tonight. OFU is a network of Mobile churches. The group took time to sing, and pray for the city, nation and community. Organizers say they try to bridge racial and denominational differences through a common faith and love.
“The love of Jesus is what brings us together, that's how we bridge the gap,” says Living Word Christian Center Bishop Levy Knox. “When we begin to see one another as Christ sees us, it's through the love of Jesus Christ.”
Bishop Knox says they're working to bring diverse people together. About 1,500 people attended the Sunday evening service.
