The search is on for a suspect in an early morning sexual assault.
Prichard Police say it happened around 4:30 this (Saturday) morning at a home in the 1300 block of First Avenue.
When they arrived, officers saw that the front door of the home had been kicked in.
A 50 year old woman told police she had been sexually assaulted by a man whom she'd seen in the neighborhood before.
The victim was taken to USA Medical Center, where police say she is in fair condition.
