The Mobile County Sheriff's Office says an illegal immigrant killed a woman and left her dead body near Interstate 10.
Sharon Lee's body was found in a ditch off the I-10 service road near Theodore Dawes Road back in April. She was 23 years old.
The sheriff's office says Lee was last seen at Wanda's Trailer Park on Old Pascagoula Road on April 21.
On Friday, September 26, investigators charged Carlos Guillerro Posada with Murder. Posada was arrested in June after investigators discovered he was in America illegally. Once he serves his sentence with U.S. Marshals, he will be returned to Mobile County to stand trial for the murder of Sharon Lee.
The Mobile County Sheriff's Office has not released how Lee was killed.
