Blu Rabbit's Paradise on Schillinger Road might be called "every kidz fantasy" but it's a headache for at least one customer.

Lynda Maniscalco paid more than 140 dollars to book her daughter's 7th birthday party on September 13, 2008.

She got a call the day before the big event from an employee saying they had to cancel. She claims that the employee told her the refund was on the way. More than a week later, she's still waiting. Now, no one is answering the phone and the door is chained at the family entertainment center.

If you look on Blu Rabbit's Paradise website , it says they are undergoing renovations and have mailed refund checks.

News 5 dug a little deeper to uncover more information about Blu Rabbit. A spokesperson for the Alabama Revenue Commission says the owner hasn't been paying taxes and they got what's called a padlock order on the business. It will re-open if and when the company pays its back taxes.
