Flooding: We're Used To It

Some of the people in Bayou La Batre woke up to their yards and streets underwater but not many of them are worried about getting a little soggy.

Some of the water reached all the way up to her knees.
At one business on shell belt the employees had to park alongside the road because the parking lot was washed out.
Some say the flooding is nothing out of the ordinary.
"I've lived here 20 something years and I'm pretty much used to it. It's just something that you've got to do when you know it's hurricane season. You've just go to batten down the hatches," said Bayou La Batre resident Iris Cardenas.
Authorities are asking that drivers obey all road closed signs and be careful when driving on roads that have standing water.
