Larry Barnette's disappearance has investigators baffled.

"Mr. Barnette has vanished off the face of the Earth," says Lt. Jud Beedy with the Daphne Police Dept.

Barnette, the husband of Daphne city councilwoman Cathy Barnette, hasn't been seen or heard from since Tuesday. The 40-year old father and his Dodge, extended cab pick-up truck are gone.

"There are no signs of foul play," says Beedy. "And he didn't pack a bag or take anything with him, which leads us to believe this wasn't planned. He just hasn't come home."

As in any missing person's case, time is important. This case is critical...Barnette's health could be in jeopardy.

"He has a medical condition, it doesn't affect his memory but he does need his medication. And he hasn't had it since Tuesday and that concerns us," says Beedy.
