Daphne Councilwoman's Missing Husband Found

Police say Larry Barnette was located in Tuscaloosa around midnight. He had been missing since Tuesday afternoon.

Police in Tuscaloosa found the missing husband of a Daphne City Councilwoman around midnight. Larry Barnette had been missing since Tuesday afternoon.

Daphne Police would not tell News 5 how he got there. But he was standing on a street corner, wearing the same clothes as the day he vanished without a trace.

News release from Daphne Police Department
"Mr. Barnette was located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama around midnight last night. He was standing on a corner. He was identified by the Tuscaloosa police as Mr. Barnette. Mr. Barnette is in good health and will be coming home soon.

Myself and the Barnette family would like to thank the media for running the story and assisting in the search of Mr. Barnette."

Barnette's wife Kathy is a Daphne City Councilwoman.

Police were particularly worried about Larry because he has a medical condition that requires him to take medication daily. He did not have his medication with him.
