U.S. Marshals Looking For Escaped Inmate

Joaquin Rios was discovered missing around 1:30 p.m. when he failed to report for the hourly head count during work detail at Pensacola NAS.

United States Marshals are asking for your help to capture an escaped federal inmate.

Joaquin Rios was discovered missing around 1:30 p.m. when he failed to report for the hourly head count during work detail at Pensacola Naval Air Station. Prison staff and Navy Security Personnel searched the area. The Bureau of Prisons contacted Marshals at 4:00 p.m. and requested their help.

"As always, we are working with the officials from the Bureau of Prisons and his apprehension is a top priority," said US Marshal Dennis Williamson., Marshal for the Northern District of Florida.

Rios is a 40-year-old white male, 5'7", 160 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was serving a 20-year-sentence for cocaine and marijuana possession, and money laundering.
