The Mobile County Sheriff's Office tried to pull over 33-year-old Donald Holingsworth around 3:30 p.m.

Holingsworth is known as a pill shopper, someone who regularly purchases the key ingredients used to make Methamphetamine.

But Holingsworth had no intention of stopping. He led deputies on a short chase. It all came to an end when he rammed one patrol car, spun out and hit a second patrol car on I-10 near McDonald Road in Theodore.

Holingsworth was injured during the chase and was taken to a local hospital. He's charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Attempted Assault and
Resisting Arrest.

When Holingsworth gets out of the hospital, he'll be taken to Metro Jail. That's where he'll likely spend his birthday on Saturday.
