A suspected car thief is struck by a police cruiser following a high speed chase.

A police chase ended in a crash at a Mobile County Middle School Tuesday night.
Chickasaw Police say two teenagers driving a Jeep Cherokee tried to outrun officers. Police say the Jeep was reported stolen earlier in the night.
The police chase went through Alabama Village and back into Chickasaw.
Police say the driver jumped out of the Jeep before it crashed into a chain link fence in front of Clarke Middle School.
The driver was hit by a Chickasaw Police car.
He was rushed to the emergency room. No word on his condition.
The passenger in the Jeep was been taken to the Chickasaw Police Department.
