A mother is behind bars. Her boyfriend is wanted by police and her 5-month old twins are recovering from a horrifying ordeal.
Prichard police say the twins were taken to USA Children's & Women's Hospital Tuesday night. Both of the little girl's legs and arms were broken. She also had two fractured vertebrae and three broken ribs. Her brother had a broken leg, two broken ribs and cigarette burns on the bottom of his feet.
Wednesday afternoon, police arrested the twins mother, 25-year-old Marketa Sharpe. They're looking for her boyfriend, 28-year-old Larry West.
Both will be charged with child endangerment, child neglect and child abuse.
