Even with her arm in a sling, Harriet Patterson still has spunk. The 82 year old says she was about to draw a late night bath when she fell in the tub and broke her arm. "The first thing I did was laugh at myself and I said honey you got yourself in a predicament kind of a mess this time didn't ya,"Said Patterson.
Patterson says she spent three and a half days banging on the walls of her bath tub until someone heard her cries. Her neighbor Cynthia Kinney says she thought the noise was coming from construction workers. But when it kept on she got suspicious and called for help. "When I saw her in that bathtub and she looked so pitiful it made me sick to my stomach, because I was thinking I'd been hearing that noise and I didn't know that was her,"Said Kinney.
Patterson says she drank bathwater to keep herself hydrated and prayed. She is now undergoing rehabilitation for a broken arm and a dislocated pelvic bone.
