Sister of Brianna Parish creating new website to warn young women about the dangers of going out alone at night

The family of Brianna Parish hopes something good will eventually come out of their loss. Brianna's sister, Miranda, is building a new website to warn young people about the dangers of going out alone at night. The informational website will be called "Brianna's Bond."

"I don't want this to ever happen to anyone else," says Miranda. "I never imagined my little sister would be taken away from me like this."

The website could be up and running in a few days.

"Stay together. Stay together no matter where you are," says Miranda.

The Parish family has set up a trust fund in Brianna's name at Region's Bank. Donations to help fund the "Brianna's Bond" website can be made at any Region's branch.

Meanwhile, investigators in Daphne are working new leads in the murder investigation. At least three businesses near the Bay House Pub have turned over surveillance video to detectives. We spoke to a business owner who gave his security footage to police. The man did not want to be identified.

"I hope it has exactly what they need on it to help them out and solve the case. I feel bad for the family and of course, for her, too. Something like this is scary to me as a father and a business owner. I have two daughters and anything I can do to help out, I promise I will."

Brianna Parish went missing from a Daphne bar last week. Three days later, her partially clothed body was found near a waste-water treatment plant on Main Street. Authorities have named Troy MacDonald as a person of interest in Brianna's death, but MacDonald has not been arrested or officially been labeled a suspect.
