HOMEWOOD, Ala. (AP) - Police are asking for the public's help in
their search for a young mother who's been missing for more than
two weeks in the Birmingham area.
Homewood police are assembling volunteer search teams to look
for 23-year-old Nadia Kersh. They'll spend Thursday combing areas
for signs of the woman.
Kersh was last seen leaving work at a store in Homewood on Nov.
3. Her car and purse were later found in west Birmingham, but there
was no sign of the young woman. Police have launched a criminal
investigation.
Rewards totaling about $36,000 are being offered for information
in the case.
