Voters at the Carver Recreation Center in Evergreen are casting their ballots in the dark.
According to the Connecuh County Probate Office, a squirrel got caught in a power substation, causing the blackout. However, the rec center is still open and people are still being allowed to vote.
Power crews hope to have the lights turned back on by noon.
