Mobile Fire investigators are trying to determine what started a fire at a residence early monday morning. Fire fighters were called to the 2200 block of Hillcrest Road, just north of Cottage Hill Road, around 3:30am for smoke coming from the home. Fire fighters were able to get the blaze out not long after arriving. Officials haven't said if anyone was at the home when it caught fire.
