McIntosh Police Officer In Trouble Again

Officer Blaine Barnett, son of the town's chief, is already under investigation for beating and tasering a driver during a traffic stop. Now he's been accused of firing his gun at motorcycle during a high-speed chase.

MCINTOSH, Ala. (AP) - A McIntosh police officer accused of
firing his weapon during a high speed chase on U.S 43 has been
placed on administrative leave.
Officer Blaine Barnett, son of Chief Michael Barnett, was
already under investigation for allegedly beating and Tasering a
driver during a traffic stop in March.
Officer Barnett reportedly fired a shot into the front tire of
the motorcycle when 38-year-old James Wills of Mobile refused to
stop. Police Captain Mike Ready said the bike never wrecked and
Willis was not injured in Sunday's incident.
Willis was charged with DUI, reckless endangerment and other
offenses.
Chief Michael Barnett said the results of an internal
investigation will be sent to an outside agency for review.
