A teenager, who doesn't even have a driver's license, is arrested after trying several times to ram Mobile County Sheriff Deputies during a chase.
Sunday night around 11:00, a deputy spotted a car on Highway 98 matching the description of a vehicle used in a robbery. When the deputy tried to pull the car over, the driver hit the gas.
During the chase, a Sheriff's Office spokesperson says 19-year-old Timothy Williams made several unsuccessful attempts to ram the patrol cars. Less than 30 minutes later, deputies put out stop sticks near Highway 45 and Spice Pond Road. Williams hit the stop sticks and had to stop his car.
Deputies say Williams resisted arrest, but did not say how his forehead was cut.
Williams is charged with reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, driving without a license, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
