WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) - John Wolf isn't taking any chances with
his new corn flake. He flew to Virginia to personally pick up the
famous flake shaped like the state of Illinois. Wolf's Texas-based
triviamania.com paid $1,350 dollars in an eBay auction for the
flake. It was sold by sisters Emily and Melissa McIntire. They're
15- and 23-years-old. The McIntire sisters took good care of their
corn flake, protecting it in a jewelry box lined with cotton. Wolf
says he was charmed by the enthusiasm of the sisters. The corn
flake will join Ron Howard's letter jacket from "Happy Days,"
Jack Ruby's hat and Marilyn Monroe's datebook in a traveling
exhibit.
