Woman Accused of Ripping Off Customers

Sheriff's Deputies say the woman would take customer's tax information and use it get prepaid debit cards.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office has arrested a woman they say was stealing customer's tax information. Deputies say Erica Mae Malston worked at H&R Block in Pace, Florida. Deputies say she would take customer's information and use it to get a prepaid Mastercard called the "Emerald Card". When she got the card, investigators say she would activate it and use it. Customer's wouldn't find out until they either got a bill or tried to file their taxes. Deputies are investigating two cases of the theft, but believe there are more victims.
