Prichard police have arrested a woman wanted for running a prescription drug scam.

23 year old Jessica Forsythe was arrested at 10:30 Monday morning. Police say she took stolen prescription pads to local pharmacies and had them fill bogus prescriptions for the painkiller Lortab. She kept some of the painkillers and sold the rest.

Police say the prescription pads were stolen from five local doctors. After her arrest, police say Forsythe confessed to being involved in at least 42 incidents of prescription forgery.

This is not the first time Forsythe has been in trouble with the law . She was arrested on similar charges in March.
